What is landscape photography?

Here is the sixth and final quote in my new weekly series and the answer to the question . . . “What is landscape photography?”

Ansel Easton Adams was a landscape photographer and environmentalist known for his black-and-white images of the American West. He helped found Group f/64, an association of photographers advocating “pure” photography which favored sharp focus and the use of the full tonal range of a photograph. (Courtesy Wikipedia)

As I said last week, this is my last post in this series. I hope you enjoyed reading the quotes as much as I enjoyed researching them and putting them in context.Stay tuned . . . I will be announcing another project soon . . . long in the thought process, but still in the formative stage. Cheers! Rick
