BRLA Summer Sounds 2018

On Saturday, July 7th, I attended this year’s version of Summer Sounds, put on by the Big Rideau Lake Association.  This is an annual event held on Cow Island on Big Rideau Lake.

You get there by swimming or boat of some sort.  People came on canoes, kayaks, runabouts, pontoons and others.  I didn’t see anyone arriving from the skies nor walking on water!

The weather was pristeen as were the events.  We were entertained by the acoustic guitar sounds of Kieran Howes.

Nancy Watters spent countless hours put this event together and I’m looking forward to it next year.  Thank-you Nancy.
